Reviving The Lost Arts - May 10 @ 242 Graham Road, West Lorne, Ontario, N0L 2P0, Canada

Baking bread, biscuits and buns, making pie crusts and pies from scratch, making soup stock, making jams, jellies and preserves – we’ve brought a barn and a bank back to life and we’re bringing these Lost Arts back to life, too. We revel in new recipes and cooking styles, but there’s something particularly special about good old-fashioned recipes, handed down from generation to generation. We experience something magical when we say, “This recipe was my grandmother’s. She taught my mother and my mother taught me.” Join us as we celebreate our Ladies of Elgin as they share some of their finest tips and techniques. You’ll love being able to say, “I made it from scratch!” The Lost Arts: Dates April 11, May 10, June 12, July 11, September 13, October 11, November 6 These sessions start run from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Call 519-768-9986 or visit http://theartsandcookerybank.com/page/home to register online.

Nathan Leeds

Nathan is originally from Cardiff, Wales, and was imported to Canada as a internet mail order groom in 1998 and has managed to avoid deportation ever since. Even though sometimes mis-interpreted, possibly to retaining a Welsh accent, he continues to try his best to make a difference to the community he has grown to love.
