~~New Review~~ Boston Pizza-Talbot Street

Tonight we went to Boston Pizza for our son Dylan‘s 5th birthday. I had booked a table for 8 in the bar because we like to watch TV while we eat and with two noisy boys its sometimes less noticeable.

We were promptly seated and the host was very friendly I mentioned we had chosen to sit by the bar so we could keep up with the sports he smiled and chatted to us about recent hockey games and the outcomes, he even took the time to ask the boys which hockey teams they liked. This meant a lot because often times adults leave kids out of the conversation and my kids loved being included.

Both set of our parents arrived and we promptly ordered our drinks. The waitress was very friendly and attentive refilling pop before having to be asked to and taking time to listen carefully to the kids as they ordered their meals.

Our meals arrived in a timely fashion, the order was correct and a good temperature. The food tasted really good and there were no surprises to mention.

After the meals were cleared they brought Dylan a birthday dessert. He looked like he was going to cry when they were singing I think it just caught him off guard. All the staff congratulated him on turning 5 and he was quite happy with that.

We were offered coffee and dessert but we declined so then the waitress discretely asked how to split the bill, but it wasn’t an issue since we were paying for it all.

We really enjoyed spending our son’s birthday at Boston Pizza. Excellent as usual!
