The move back from the Elgin Mall is almost upon us. As much as we’ve loved this location, we’re also excited to get back to Curtis St. to see all the changes.

We expect this to be a more challenging move as we will be fitting our collection into the building in new shelving and a new layout. Because of these – and many other – complexities, we will be making the following changes to the library schedule:

Wednesday, December 14 – Saturday, December 17: open from 9am5pm only

The library will be CLOSED from Monday, December 19, 2011 – Saturday, January 14, 2012. We will reopen on Monday, January 16, 2012 with our usual hours in effect.

Books borrowed before December 17, 2011 will be due on or after January 23, 2012. Closer to the closing date, loan dates on things like DVDs, CDs, and magazines will be extended as well.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this causes and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to create an even better library experience for you.
