Book Review – Blizzard – George Stone

When the snow begins to fall on December 21st, it marks the start of the worst winter storm in US history, and perhaps the world. What makes it more dangerous is that it may be man-made and it may be unstoppable.

Blizzard reads like a book written in the late 70s. Everyone smokes, and the style of writing is fine but brief. For a book with roughly 260 pages, the scope of the plot could have filled 500 if more time had been taken to fill out the characters and story. Its a rushed storyline that tries hard but fails to convey all that is happening with the storm. It also doesn’t do much more than introduce two dimensional characters before involving them in the action.

A TV movie of a book, not great but it passed the time without too much hardship!
