I was born in Wales and spent the first 28 years of my exciting life living there. Every day was a new and exciting challenge. Every night, a party to attend. It was such a wonderful time. Of course my memories of the time may have slightly been exaggerated. What I did honestly do is give blood. I gave blood because it is the right thing to do, because I liked the fact that I could help people and it gave me a great excuse to drink more at the pub that night as I had to replenish the supply!
I am unable to give blood in Canada due to vCJD or Mad Cow disease. As there is no current test for it, Canadian Blood Services are unable to screen for it. This doesn’t mean I have mad cow disease, far from it, I am as sane as a chicken dressed as a cowboy crossing the road in a Fiat 500.
Just because I am unable to give blood doesn’t mean you can’t. On October 19th at the Timken Community Centre you can give blood from 12:30 to 8:00pm leaving lots of time for topping up at your local drinking hole! Go do some good before I go moooooooooooo
