Dummer, Marguerite of Valleyview Home, St. Thomas, passed away peacefully, on Monday, September 16th, 2013, at her late residence, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Graham Henry Dummer (2008) and loved mother of  Janet and her husband Robert Dymock and Carol and her husband David Sherwin  all of St. Thomas and the late Steven Dummer.  Loved grandmother of Becky Dymock (Joe) and Mandy Dymock (Matt) and Joshua and Brett Sherwin. Dear sister of the late Earl, Jack, Sidney and Keith Lucas. Marguerite was born in Wallacetown on August 15th, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Ermyn (Keillor) Lucas. Dear sister-in-law of Maxine Beer of St. Thomas. She was a retired Registered Nurse at the St. Thomas Psychiatric Hospital.

A private family service will be  held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas. Interment  to follow  in South Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the charity of choice.

Williams Funeral Home
The Williams Funeral Home was founded in 1893 by P.R. Williams and is one of the oldest Funeral businesses in the province. Over the next seven decades the business was passed down through several generations in the Williams Family. In the eariler years they occupied a number of different buildings along Talbot Street and in 1929 they purchased the building at 45 Elgin Street, from which they still operate. In 1966, Gordon Hughson, who had operated the Hughson Funeral Home in Aylmer for the previous twenty one years, purchased the funeral home and continued the long tradition of dedication and service. Currently, the funeral home is operated by his sons, Allan and Gary Hughson.
