JOB DESCRIPTION: Beamish Landscape Service is an established design build landscaping company recognized for taking care of its employees, customers and landscapes in St. Thomas Ontario. Our main focus is residential Landscaping Featured in several trade brochures and magazines. Beamish landscape is seeking for an individual who is passionate about the environment and providing our customers with exceptional landscapes. A Landscape Designer with an unique design flare to join our hardworking and growing team
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Scheduling client meetings, property inventory and dimensions
• Interact with customers to troubleshoot and solve landscape problems
• Designing residential landscapes and providing quantity take off of these drawings

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:  Thorough knowledge of different plant, shrub and tree varieties and standard horticultural practices in this climate zone.
 Strong oral and written communication, with staff and customers
 Problem solving and organizational skills
 A solid work ethic with good team work skills
 Fluent in Microsoft Word and Excel an asset
 Love of working outdoors is essential
 During the peak season is willing to work a six day work week with extended hours
 Two year community college diploma in a landscape Design program is highly preferred
 Have experience in both Dyna Scape & hand drawn design
 ‘G’ class Ontario driver’s license
 Valid First aid Certificate

SALARY: Wage is negotiable based on experience and industry standards
HOURS: Full time – seasonal
