Preston Elected Chair of CPA

MP Joe PrestonWednesday, in Ottawa, Joe Preston, Member of Parliament for Elgin-Middlesex-London was elected the Chair of the Canadian Branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA).

“I am honoured to have been elected Chair of the Canadian CPA”, said Preston. “Helping other Members of Parliament in Commonwealth Countries become stronger and more efficient Parliamentarians is a unique opportunity. I am excited to learn more about the best practices of all Parliaments in the Commonwealth and I look forward to sharing that knowledge with my colleagues at home in Canada

Preston’s term is for one (1) year.
