Dress Drive Event

I had the opportunity to talk with the two founders of the Dress Drive Katie Davidson & Maria Ruggier. They are working together with Princess Project going around to these four schools: Parkside, Central, St. Joes, and Voaden and accepting donations of formal dresses, shoes, accessories and cash donations. The dress’s, accessories,  and cash will be donated to the Princess Project.

The Princess Project is an organization that gives to deserving young ladies who may not have the means to afford a beautiful dress for their graduation or prom. The project also helps to find homes for the dresses that we all have collected over the years.

If you do not attend these schools you can still help. You can drop off donations. Please contact the Dress Drive Page on Facebook to make arrangements.

For those who generously donate you have a chance to win prizes. For every item / $ you donate you get a ballet towards our draw.
Prizes will be posted at a later date.

So, take a look in those closets girls!!(guys, ask your mom’s , sisters or girlfriends) you looked amazing when you wore that dress imagine what it will mean to someone who can’t afford the opportunity. You can make a difference and help someone feel like a princess!

The event is:

April 26 at 11:00am – April 28 at 2:30pm

We at the St. Thomas Blog wish you both a huge success. We encourage everyone to take a look in your closet, and join their Facebook page Dress Drive to stay updated and/or contact them.
