Fast Food isn’t always a bad thing

We all know about the healthy foods and non, the quick sub or fast food. The one thing that changes minds is causes. Wednesday May 11th is one of those days where the cause matters.

Year after year, McHappy Day truly brings the community together for this one-of-a-kind fundraising initiative. On this day, one dollar from every Big Mac sandwich, McMuffin sandwich and Happy Meal sold benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Canada, the Ronald McDonald House program and local children’s charities across the country.

This year marked the 17th McHappy Day in the history of McDonald’s Canada during which more than $3 million was raised for children’s charities. Since its inception in 1977, McHappy Day has raised more than $31 million. McHappy Day highlights our longstanding commitment to making a difference in the communities we serve.

As a result of the continued McHappy Day success in Canada, it will now be celebrated annually worldwide – uniting McDonald’s restaurants around the world in support of children in need.

Leave your packed lunch home tomorrow and treat yourself. As you eat your Big Mac, think about the smiles on the children’s faces.

By helping, You’ll Be Lovin’ it!
