Grand Opening Weekend

Antiques on the Side officially opened yesterday to a great turn out. On Talbot St. by the lights at Manitoba St. Just look for the orange awnings.

Having the Horton Market right around the corner made it a steady flow of customers and well wishers. I go there fairly often and the stock is always changing. One of the things I like about antique stores. Always a new find, and hidden gem. I took some more photos for the Grand Opening and a couple of pieces sold. I also went back later on that day, and several more larger items had sold signs. Very happy to see that this new location is a great fit, and the customers know a deal when they see it.

By the cash machine they had a photo album of what work had to be done to get it to what the store looks like now. Lillian Carder’s father did a fantastic job with the restoration.

I wish all the best to Doug Walker, Dennis Wilson, and Connie to the new location and success with Antiques on the Side.

p.s. it wouldn’t hurt to have more cameras in stock (no kodak models) just kidding. well….. lol
