Meet Comet

Comet is a 3 year old black lab rescued from the City of St. Thomas pound. He was sick in the pound. All Breed Canine Rescue has been providing all the vet care for the sick and injured dogs in the pound. So Comet became our responsibility, or he would have been destroyed, just before Christmas. Comet is recovering in a foster home, doing really well. Comet is super friendly, good with dogs and people…..loves the outdoors. If you would like to meet Comet, email me at allbreedcaninerescue@sympatico.ca.
All Breed Canine Rescue has been working hard to ensure there are no animals suffering in the St. Thomas City pound. If you would like to see us continue our volunteer work, please foster or adopt or donate. We need your help in the coming year. See us on www.allbreedcaninerescue.petfinder.com.

  1. Do people realize if they buy a dog tag for their dog, if the dog does get out it is much easier to be reunited with their family as their information is in a system and all they have to do at the shelter is punch in the tag number and year of tag? Dog tags cost between $12 and $50 depending on where you live, a cheap price to be sure your pet gets returned home if it ever accidentally gets out….
Also microchipping your dog is a good idea for the same reason and also if someone tries stealing your pet if they ever take it to a vet it may be found and returned! Microchipping usually costs between $50 and $100 which is a bargain for the peace of mind it will give you if your dog ever gets out or lost!
Most people spend this amount on coffee in a month, isn’t your pet worth it?
