Movie Review – Cars

A brash Nascar car gets lost on the way to a three car showdown and finds himself on Route 66, in a forgotten town. Will he get back to the big race?

Pixar does it again, with great animation and some stellar names in the cast, well, Paul Newman anyway. The lead car is voiced by Owen Wilson, and various other cars have such talent as Larry the Cable Guy, Tony Shalhoub, George Carlin and Cheech Marin.

This is a fun movie, with lots of clever humour, some emotion and some of the best graphics I have seen so far from Pixar. Several big names from Nascar pop their voices into the movie including Dale Earnhardt Jr.

A movie for all ages but perhaps more for the children than adults.
