The St. ThomasElgin Public Art Centre is please to present the works of Ron Kingswood, “LANDSCAPES”. Over the past decade, a search for a deeper response to the landscape has led Ron away from pictorial works, to a more metaphorical and emblematic objective. He finds discussion or pronouncement of these new canvasses hugely difficult, and perhaps even more so, unimportant. Also to characterize these works in a contextual style is unessential, for the pursuit of the sublime is wordless.

Join us on Friday, July 16 at 7:00 pm for the Opening Reception with guest speaker, Sandra Ainsley.  The exhibition runs until September 11, 2010.

Proudly Sponsored by: The Women’s Committee of STEPAC and David and Mary Louise White STEPAC acknowledges the generous support of its members, donors, sponsors and volunteers: The City of St. Thomas, County of Elgin and the Ontario Art Council.

  1. I ownn an Kingswood. It is a watercolour of a Goshawk. If I am not mistaken. It was purchased in the late 1970s and I was wondering how I could find the price of the piece.
