Bain Photo (179x250)Bain – Myrna Clara of St. Thomas passed away at home after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, September 19th, 2014, in her 71st year. Always at her side was her loving partner Ken Wigglesworth and her much loved spoiled dog Maggie. Myrna lived for her children, Nicole Bain (Adrian) of London, Jeff Bain of St. Thomas, and Brian Bain (Tammy) all of London. She was adored by her grandchildren Alyssa Powileit of Toronto, Kiara Bain of Port Stanley, Tristan and Avery Bain of St. Thomas. Dear sister of Doug (Ida) Tunks of Blenheim, Ed (Ruth) Tunks of Maidstone, Elona (Ron) Skidmore of Simcoe, and Doreen (John) Gwilt of Fort St. John, B.C. Myrna was born in Windsor, ON on October 8th, 1943 daughter of the late Cecil and Dorothy (McMaster) Tunks. Myrna worked as a hairstylist for over 40 years and was the proud owner of “Your Total Look”. She loved music, dancing, her garden, her friends, doll collecting, spending time with her grandchildren, travelling with Ken, and she especially loved to laugh. She taught all of us the importance of fun, of hard work, not to judge others, and that angels do live on earth. We know this is true as we watched Ken and family friend Darlene keep watch and comfort her every minute in her last days.
