BATTY – Dorothy May Jean Batty of Bobier Villa, Dutton has gone to be with the Lord! In the early hours of Monday, May 6, 2013 Dorothy passed gently into the arms of Jesus. Survived by her sister Betty Milligan of Bobier Villa, Dutton; her nephew and caregiver Terry Batty of St. Thomas, and several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William and Alice Batty, her brother Robert Batty, and her sisters Marguerite Rickwood and Ruth LaCroix. Dorothy was retired from Redman Motors (Singer Controls, St. Thomas) and was a member of the Salvation Army Church. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at the Salvation Army Church, 380 Elm Street, St. Thomas on Wednesday, May 8 at 2:00pm. Interment in Elmdale Cemetery. If desired, donations to Animal Aide of St. Thomas would be appreciated, flowers respectfully declined. Personal condolences to the family can be made at
