Demars – Helen Ann (Fogal) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Monday, July 6th, 2015, in her 70th year. Beloved wife and best friend of 48 years of Edward Joseph Demars and loved mother of Edward Demars of St. Thomas, Laura Rupert of London and Gerald Demars of St. Thomas. Cherished grandma of Megan, Edward, Maria and Laura. Dear daughter-in-law of Laura Demars and sister of Gary Fogal. Lovingly remembered by a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Helen was born in Toronto on August 20th, 1945, daughter of the late Bruce and Ivy (Hogg) Fogal. She was a member of Holy Angels’ Catholic Church. Helen volunteered for many years as a driver for F.C.S.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Holy Angels’ Church on Thursday at 10:00am. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes in Holy Angels’ Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or charity of one’s choice.
