Duncan, Carol Mae

Duncan-Carol Mae of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, October 30th, 2016, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, at the age of 60. Dearly loved wife of Mark Duncan and loved mother of Brent and his wife Lindsey Duncan of Union and Luke Duncan of St. Thomas. Dear sister of Bonnie Beard (late John) of Newmarket, Dr. Gail Churchill (Dr Douglas Crawford) of Barrie, Judy Vandenberg of Burlington, Janice Borgford of Barrie, Joyce Falcon (John) of Orillia, Sharon Enman (Alfred) of Barrie, Joan Churchill of Orillia and Jackie Lamb-Churchill of Calgary. Sadly missed by her aunt Norine Inkster of Calgary and several other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law. Carol was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on April 3, 1956, the daughter of the late Gordon and Marguerite (Gallagher) Churchill. Carol was an R.P.N. at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital. She was a member of St. Anne’s Church. The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Church on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Remembrances may be made to the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation. “To love is to serve”
