Gilmour-Richard Kenneth of St. Thomas, passed away on Friday, May 17th, 2013, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in his 71 year. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Linda (Esseltine) Gilmour and loved father of Jeff Esseltine (Roxanne) of Tillsonburg, Liana Cox (Brian) of St. Thomas and Richard John Gilmour of St. Thomas. Predeceased by an infant daughter Tammy-Lynn Gilmour. Loved grandfather of Natasha, Kelsey, Devon, Melissa, Tammy, Shane, Chad and Dylan and great grandfather of Logan and Carson. Dear brother of Robert “Bob” Gilmour (Marion) of Georgetown. Predeceased by a number of brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Richard was born in St. Thomas on May 10, 1943, the son of the late Thomas and Eleanor (Brooks) Gilmour. He was retired from Weatherhead (Hayes Dana). He was a member of the Centennial Sports Club.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St. St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
