Griffin, Kathleen Marie

Griffin-Kathleen Marie of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, June 26th, 2016, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, at the age of 43. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Brent and much loved mother of Sarah and Zachary. Loved daughter of Graham Gould and the late Elizabeth Gould. Dear sister of Ken Hodgins. Dear daughter-in-law of Ronald Griffin and the late Maureen Griffin. Sadly missed by a number of other family members and friends. Kathleen was born in St. Thomas on February 23rd, 1973. She enjoyed working with families at the Office of Dr. Brian Hertwig. Family was always the most important thing in her life. Kathleen enjoyed yard sales, Christmas Bazaars and collecting, especially Angels and fairies.

A celebration of Kathleen’s life will be held on Friday, July 1st at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Chemotherapy Unit.

  4. I am in total shock a loss for words i cannot express how sad to hear this, i am so so sorry zach and Sarah and Brent. I worked with Katt a long time ago at tims i remember her being pregnant with u guys she was such a wonderful person and great co-worker she always had a smile on her face, please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all and i am so so sorry for your loss…RIP KATT OXOX

    I’m so very sorry for your family loss , Your Mom was just simply amazing in every way You are beautiful just like her inside and out .
    In the time I got to know your mom she helped me in so many ways from providing a Christmas for my son’s to helping me threw my Dad’s own fight from cancer when she was fighting her’s to helping me get threw the pain of losing my Dad in 2013 and helping me realize that my children needed me even though I was hurting I will forever have your Mom in my heart and return her graciousness , kindness , strength & support she gave me to you and your family anything at all anytime of night it’s time for your family to grieve cry yell smile then yell some more it’s going on 3 years and I still do these steps a very wise lady told me your Mom it’s healthy take care and know we are all here for you and your family.
