Haigh, Thomas William “Tommy” (“Bomber”)

Haigh, Thomas William “Tommy” (“Bomber”) of Port Stanley, passed away peacefully, on Monday, January 9th, 2017, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital at the age of 66. Dearly loved partner of Valerie (Custance) Miller and dear step-father of Jeff Miller (Erin) and the late Kevin Miller. Much loved brother of John Haigh (Sheila) and Mary-Helen Rowden (Lee). Tommy was born in London on September 7th, 1950, the son of the late Norman and Alice (Adams) Haigh. He was a commercial fisherman over 50 years. He loved playing and watching hockey and was a die hard London Knights fan. He also enjoyed golf. A Celebration of Tommy’s life will be held at the Port Stanley Legion on Sunday, January 22nd from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., with a service of remembrance at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas in charge of arrangements.
