Haylow, Phyllis (Robins)

Haylow- Phyllis (Robins) of the Valleyview Home St. Thomas passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday June 2nd, 2016 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late James Basil Haylow (2011) and loving mother of Judy (late Jim) Gilmore of St. Thomas, Janice (late Don) Speers of Kitchener, Kathleen (Brian) Thomson of Elora, John (Margaret) Haylow of Bracebridge. Karen Haylow of Listowel and was predeceased by her infant daughter Katherine. Much loved grandmother of Lisa (Bruce), Sean, Jason, Alicia, Emily, Erin, Peter, Anna, Maria, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Meghan and great-grandmother of Clark, Blair, Nathanel, Madison, Evangeline and Hailey. Predeceased by her dear sisters, Dorothy Deverell, Irene Clark and Marilyn Rawlings. Phyllis was born April 22, 1921 in Aylmer the daughter of the late William and Florence (Banks) Robins. She was a faithful member of Holy Angels Church and of the Catholic Women’s League.
Resting at Williams Funeral Home 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where visitation will be held Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Monday at 3:45 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Anne’s Church on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Angels Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Holy Angels Church Restoration Fund or the charity of one’s choice
