Jankovic, Rudolph of St. Thomas and formerly of Brantford, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 10th, 2014, at the Four Counties Hospital, Newbury, at the age of 77. Dearly loved husband and best friend of over 56 years of Katherine (Klees) Jankovic and loved father of Irene Barwick (Bill) of Orangeville, Larry Jankovic (Heidi) of Burford and Brian Jankovic (Michelle) of Woodstock. Much loved grandfather of Brett, Trent, Troy, Blake, Clark, Chase, Zachary and Samuel. Dear brother of Mary Felder (Bill) of Paris, On and the late Lil Smith and her husband Dave of St. Catharines. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews and many friends. Rudolph was born in Croatia on January 1, 1937, the son of the late Joseph and Mary Jankovic. He proudly worked for Ontario Power Generation (Ontario Hydro) over 28 years. Rudolph was an active follower of Christ and a member of the St. Thomas Pentecostal Assembly. He worked a number of years in the Pastoral Care Ministry. He enjoyed playing the violin.
The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Thursday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and at the St. Thomas Pentecostal Assembly Friday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. The funeral service to celebrate Rudolph’s life will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Thomas Pentecostal Assembly. Rev. Peter Cusick officiating. Private interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the St. Thomas Pentecostal Church or to Bethel Park Camp.
