Langley, Ronald George

Langley – Ronald George of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Thursday, February 4th, 2016, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Caruana) Langley (2007) and dearly loved father of George (Leslie), Elizabeth, John (Joanne), Judd (Sandy) and the late infant son John Langley. Cherished grandpa of Carrianne, Nicholas, Kersten, Jackson, Evan, Althea, Jean-Luc, Charles and Antoine. Dear brother of Gus (late Barb) Langley and Jim (Audrey) Langley. Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ron was born in St. Thomas on July 13th, 1932, son of the late George and Mabel (Watson) Langley. Ron was retired from Ford Motor Co., Talbotville. He was a life member of St. John’s Anglican Church and member of the Brotherhood of Anglican Churchmen. Ron was a long time member of the St. Thomas Gun Club and also enjoyed playing for local basketball and fastball teams when he was younger.
Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas where visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church on Thursday at 11:00am. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Anglican Church.
