Manning-Charles William

Manning-Charles William of St. Thomas, passed away on Wednesday, March 11th, 2015, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 76th year. Dearly loved husband of Sandra (Ziegler) Manning and loved father of Charles (Paul) Manning (Sue) and Deborah Manning (Cliff) all of London. Much loved grandfather of James. Dear brother of James “Jay” Manning (Peggy) of Oakville. Charles was born in St. Thomas on May 25th, 1939, the son of A. Elizabeth Manning of London and the late Charles O. Manning. He has lived in St. Thomas the past 10 years. Charles was a retired millwright and worked at Kellogg’s, London over 38 years. He formerly lived in Komoka. Charles was an avid boater and fisherman.

A private family service will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. No public visitation. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully declined. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
