PATON – Flossie May Barbara of Southwold, Ontario passed away peacefully on July 24, 2013 at the age of 88.  Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Paton.  Cherished mother of Sharon (Jim) Malott of Southwold, Faye (Frank) Veraart of Iona Station, David (Jeanette) Paton of Dutton, Richard (Cobi) Paton of Iona Station, Janet (Ron) Ripley of Saskatoon, SK, Teresa (Brian) Cochrane of Strathclair, MB, Brian Paton of Belmont, Dan Paton of Southwold.  Grandmother of Brenda (Richard) Parish, Jim (Robin) Malott, Barbara (Bill) McMaster, Tom (Deb) Malott, Tammy (Henry) Caris, Sue Veraart, Frank (Christine) Veraart, Terry (Michelle) Paton, Valerie (Dave) Jackson, Michael Paton, Lisa (Grant) Boyd, Andrew (Zoe) Paton, the late Lorrie (Greg) Murphy, Benjamine Ripley, John Ripley, Jeff (Ana) Ripley, James (Amy) Cochrane, Tracy Cochrane (Martin Ayling), Jessica Whaley-Paton; and several great grandchildren.  Flossie is also survived by her siblings Allen (Kay) Lilley of Wallacetown, Ella (the late Jim) Smith of Morpeth, June (the late Gus) Mundinger of Glencoe, the late Cliff (Elaine) Lilley of Dutton, the late Sadie (Harley) Blancher of St. Thomas, Donald (Patsy) Lilley of Dunwich, Peggy (Ken) Gowan of Wallacetown, Mac (Ann) Lilley of Dunwich, Anne (Pete) Vereyken of Mt. Brydges; and by many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).  A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 2:00pm in the Cowal-McBride  Cemetery, Dutton/Dunwich, Ontario.  A Celebration of Life at Iona Christian Fellowship Church 9075 Iona Rd, Iona will follow.  If desired, donations to a Charity of One’s Choice would be appreciated.  Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.shawnjacksonfuneralhome.com.
