Pell, Lorine Margaret

Pell – Lorine Margaret of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, October 1st, 2015, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Murray Pell (April 22nd, 1986). Dearly loved mother of Bob Pell (Karen) of St. Thomas, Mary Thornton (Wayne) of St. Thomas, Terry Pell (Debbie) of B.C., Carol Legge (Graham) of London and the late Dianne Prenty (2010) and her husband Kevin of St. Thomas. Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was the last of her family. Lorine was born in Nelson, B.C. on June 21st, 1921, the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Toole) Lane. She served in the Army in Vancouver , B.C. during W.W. II. Lorine was the eldest and longest living resident in the   Lynhurst Community. She had a wonderful sense of humour and enjoyed getting together with family and friends. She was an avid traveler. Family was always Lorine’s first priority. She was a member of the Roman Catholic faith.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of choice.
