Perfect, Richard “Dick” James

Perfect – Richard “Dick” James of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, June 8th, 2016 in his 77th year. Dearly loved father of Darryl Perfect (Michelle), Dawn Koeltz and partner David and Denise Perfect and Norm and their mother, Darlene. Cherished grandfather of Robert, Jessica, Shawna, Alena, Julia, Jacob and Aaron. Remembered by his former wife, Agnes Perfect of London and her daughter, Paula. Dear brother of Romaine Netz (late Paul) of B.C. Dick was born in St. Thomas on November 12th, 1939, son of the late Arnold and Leota (Greenbury) Perfect. He was retired from Allview Cable and Municipal World. He was a musician and played lead guitar for many years in the band “Corner of Nashville” and a number of bands after that. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home, on Saturday, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception at the Knights of Columbus, Wellington St., St. Thomas. Cremation has taken place, with a private interment of ashes with his parents in Union Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Condolences may be sent to
