ROGERS, Norman L., of Aylmer, formerly of Kitchener, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, September 3, 2015, in his 65th year. Beloved husband for almost 43 years to Wendy (nee Foster) Rogers. Dearly loved father of Lorne Rogers (Nicole) of Exeter, and Ryan Rogers (Hollie) of Hanover. Cherished grandfather of Shannon, Claire, Atley, Domonic, Mercedes, Alicia, and Kenedie. Loving son-in-law of Clara Foster of Belmont, and the late Fred Foster. Dear brother of the late Ronald Rogers (1984). Loved nephew of Shirley Beacom of Scarborough. Also survived by several in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in St. Thomas, ON, November 16, 1950, he was the son of the late Clare and Mildred (nee Mills) Rogers. Norm was the former Head of the I.T. Department at the University of Guelph. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A public service will be held at Dorchester Union Cemetery on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to Childcan will be gratefully acknowledged.
