On Monday afternoon April 30, 2012 St Thomas Police arrested and charged a 26 year old female for causing problems and refusing to leave the emergency department at St Thomas Elgin General Hospital. The accused was issued a provincial offences ticket and lodged at police headquarters.
Warrant to arrested executed
A 29 year old man was arrested Monday morning on an outstanding warrant for possession of property obtained by crime. He was held at police headquarters pending a Tuesday May 1, 2012 court appearance.
Car strikes pedestrian
On Monday April 30, 2012 St Thomas Police attended a motor vehicle – pedestrian collision that occurred on Wellington Street near Princess Avenue. Police say a 72 year old women crossing Wellington Street was struck by an approaching vehicle. The female suffered extensive leg injuries and shock. She was transported by ambulance to St Thomas Elgin General Hospital and admitted. The driver of the car was not charged.
Female wanted by Police
St Thomas Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Krystle Leanne Oag. She is a 37 year old white female 5’2 inches height 141 pounds weight wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. Police are also looking to speak with Oag regarding recent incidents in the City of St Thomas involving threats and an attempt break and enter.
