2012-05-23 – Motor vehicle collision

On Tuesday May 22, 2012 St Thomas Police attended a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Ross and Wellington Street(s). Police say at around 6:48PM a vehicle driven by a 22 year old male turned Eastbound onto Wellington Street from Ross Street resulting a collision with a second vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle was transported by ambulance to St Thomas Elgin General Hospital where he was treated for shoulder and hip injuries. The incident remains under investigation.

Break and enter

St Thomas Police are investigating a break and enter that occurred at a Southwick Street apartment between the hours of 10:30AM and 8:30PM Tuesday May 22, 2012. Drunk arrested

Shortly after 3:30AM Wednesday May 23, 2012 St Thomas Police arrested and charged a 23 year old female for being intoxicated on Wellington Street. The female was lodged at police headquarters until sober
