2012-06-18 – Mischief, forcible entry

On June 17, 2012 at 11:00 am police attended a residence located in the southeast end of the city in regards to a domestic disturbance.
Police arrested and charged a 38 year old St. Thomas man with mischief under $5000.00 and forcible entry into a residence. He was transported to the police station for processing and held overnight in cells. He made a morning court appearance where he was released with conditions that include a future court date.
The woman was not injured and did not require medical attention.

Impaired driver

On June 18, 2012 at 12:30 am police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the area of Moore and Wellington Streets. Through investigation police determined the driver’s ability to operate the vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The 26 year old St. Thomas man was arrested and charged with impaired driving. He was transported to the police station for processing and subsequently provided breath samples in excess of the legal limit. He was charged with impaired driving, in excess of 80 milligrams of alcohol, and suspended driving from a previous unrelated matter.
He was held in cells for a court appearance.
