7-Day licence suspension

On October 14, 2015, St. Thomas Police assisted the O.P.P. with a call regarding a possible impaired driver. The caller reported that the vehicle was travelling towards the city from the Aylmer area and they believed the driver to be impaired.

The vehicle in question was located and stopped by St. Thomas officers near Talbot Street and Fairview Avenue. The driver was asked to do the roadside breath test in which he registered a “warn”. The 26 year-old driver from Vienna was issued an automatic 7 day driver’s licence suspension due to the fact that this was his second incident.
