Assault, threats, drugs, resisting arrest……

On June 13, 2016, an 18-year-old male from London and a 17-year-old female from St. Thomas, were hanging out at a Dieppe Drive residence. At approximately 11:30pm the male initiated an intimate moment to which he was denied. He became very upset and assaulted the female and threatening her to cause death. The female was able to contact Police.

Upon Police arrival the accused male was standing outside making an attempt to flee. He was placed under arrest by the responding Officers and began fighting with them. He was eventually handcuffed and searched. Located in his possession was a quantity of illegal narcotics and a flick knife.

He was transported to the St. Thomas Police Station where was held pending a bail hearing for the offences of; Assault, Uttering Threats, resisting arrest, possession of CDSA, and possession of a prohibited weapon.
