Break and enter thief caught

Between February 26 and February 28, 2013, a total of 29 Storage lockers were broken into during the night at two different storage facilities in St. Thomas. As a result a 23 year old male from Oil Springs ON, has been arrested and charged with 12 counts of Break, Enter and theft and 1 count of possession of break and enter instruments. Lock it or lose it

On Tuesday March 12, 2013 Police attended Wal-Mart to promote and educate the public on the importance of locking your vehicles at all times. While a static display was set up, police also checked vehicles in the parking lot. Approximately 100 vehicles were checked and a total of 7 were found to be unlocked. Police will continue to promote this Crime Prevention program at local businesses within the city.
