Christmas Decorations being Stolen

Over the last couple of weeks, the St. Thomas Police have had a larger than usual number of Christmas decorations (lights) reported stolen. The target of choice appears to be the newer laser lights that project from the ground on to the sides of houses and businesses. These lights run from between $70 and $700 depending on the type/size/technology. Please pay special attention to these lights if you’ve put them out, or if you were thinking about purchasing them, know that it appears they are the item of choice for those who choose to take someone else’s belongings.

Anyone with information on these thefts can contact the St. Thomas Police at 519-631-1364 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
