Police arrested and charged a 41 year old London man with assault stemming from a domestic disturbance.
Police were called to an east end Elm Street residence March 12th just before 8:00 pm. The victim did not require medical attention.
The London man was released on conditions to abide by including a future court date.
Police dealt with two separate occurrences involving intoxicated men in the early hours of March 13th.
The first incident involved assisting a cab driver who was trying to assist an intoxicated 41 year old St. Thomas man. The incident occurred at 2:00 am on Fairview Avenue. The cab driver was unable to reason with the intoxicated man. Police ultimately arrested the man and held him in custody till he was sober.
The second incident occurred shortly after 3:00 am. Police were called to a large disturbance in front of a west end residence. The crowd had dispersed upon arrival. As a result a 22 year old St. Thomas man was arrested for being drunk in public. He was also held in police cells till sober.
Both men were issued a $65.00 ticket for being intoxicated in public.
