Domestic Dispute leads to Dangerous Driving Charges

On August 18, 2015 just before 9:00pm, St. Thomas Police arrested a male driver during a traffic stop near Talbot St. and First Ave. after receiving a 9-1-1 call.

Earlier in the evening an argument ensued between a 31 year-old female and 34 year-old male over their dissolving relationship. The male was dropped off outside of the City to pick up his vehicle and on the way back into town the male began following the female. He began tailgating her, speeding up beside her and eventually passing her and slamming on the brakes. During this incident the couples 1 year-old child was inside the females’ vehicle.

The male was arrested and charged with Dangerous Driving and breach of probation. He was held for court.
