Over the past 24 hours the St. Thomas Police investigated two domestics. On the evening of February 2oth, a 19 year old female reported an incident involving some unwanted communication from her ex-boyfriend. During the investigation the victim disclosed some incidents where she had been pushed and punched on four separate occasions during 2015 and the early part of 2016. A 22 year old male now faces four counts of domestic assault. Then at approximately 2:00 am a 20 year old female disclosed to police that her 24 year old ex-boyfriend entered her apartment about an hour earlier without her permission, and engaged her in conversation about their relationship. The victim demanded the ex boyfriend leave the apartment which he did, but not before threatening that he was going to burn her house down. During the victim’s interview with police she indicated that she had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend on three previous occasions from December 2015 to February 2016. On one occasion, the suspect physically prevented the victim from leaving his residence, and she had to push past him to leave.
