Driver charged with Over 80 mgs

On April 10, 2016, at approximately 3:15 am a 45-year-old female was arrested for driving with more than 80 mgs of blood alcohol. The St. Thomas woman was arrested for registering a fail on a roadside screening device after a traffic stop. She was transported to the St. Thomas Police where she provided samples of her breath that were found to contain 1.5 times the legal limit. The woman was later released from custody with a future court date.
