Drunk Driver

In the early morning hours of October 28, 2016, an Officer on patrol observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed down Talbot St making abrupt lane changes. The vehicle was eventually stopped on Wellington St. West of First Ave. The Officer spoke with the driver and could smell alcohol. The driver provided a roadside sample of her breath and registered a fail. She was placed under arrest, transported to the St. Thomas Police Headquarters where she provided breath sample the registered nearly double the legal limit.

The 45-year old female from St. Thomas has be charged with one count of drive motor vehicle – more than 80mgs and was served an automatic 90 driver’s licence suspension.
