Early morning police report

At shortly after 2:00 in the morning the St. Thomas Police responded to a disturbance in the area of Talbot Street and St. Catherine Street. A 21 year old adult male was taken into custody after being involved in an altercation with others. Further investigation revealed the male was breaching a condition on an existing court release document. The male has been charged with obstructing police and breach. Male was held in custody pending a court appearance.

On Talbot Street at Mondamin St at around 3:30 in the morning the St. Thomas Police conducted a traffic stop suspecting the driver could be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. After speaking to the adult male driver the police determined that was in fact the case. The driver was arrested and charged with having more than two times the legal limit of alcohol in his system. The driver was later released and will appear in court at a later date.

    I just don’t get humans- you know when on probation you gotta be good & drinking & driver or doing drugs is against the law- they only make it bad for good people that end up paying high insurance rates
