On 01 March 2015, St. Thomas Police officers arrested a 26 year old male for Obstructing Police after the male provided a false identity to officers, knowing that he was breaching conditions of his existing release order. Through further investigation, the true identity of the male was eventually learned and additional criminal charges developed. The male was found to be in breach of his house arrest and reside conditions. The male was charged with two counts of Failing to Comply with his Recognizance, Breach of Probation and the Obstruct Police charge. The male was held in custody pending a morning court appearance.
