Female charged with obstructing Police

On June 24, 2015 at approximately 10:57pm the St. Thomas Police were called to a local department Store regarding a possible shoplifting incident.

Police spoke to a male and female. Through investigation it was determined that the female had provided a false name to police and she was currently on a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and house arrest with conditions.

The 31 year-old female from Aylmer was placed under arrest for obstructing a Police Officer and breach of probation X2. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing. The male was not charged.
