Highway Traffic Act charges

April 8, 2013 was a busy day for Police and enforcing the Highway Traffic Act. A 48 year old male was stopped in town and was charged with driving while suspended X2, fail to apply for permit on becoming owner, drive motor vehicle –no currently validated permit and use plates not authorized. He was issued a summons for a future court date.

Also, a 30 year old Tillsonburg female was stopped by Police and charged with driving without a proper licence and operating a vehicle with no insurance. She was issued a summons for a future court date.

A conviction of suspended driving carries a fine for a first offence of $1000 and maximum of $5000.
