During the early morning hours of November 5th, 2016, the St. Thomas Police were alerted to a possible impaired driver. Officer’s located the vehicle and spoke with the female driver and detected an odor of alcohol on her breath. Police requested she provide samples of breath in an approved Alcohol Screening Device, which she failed. The driver was transported to the station where she provided suitable samples of her breath, which were found to be 3 times the legal limit. She was later released with a future court date.
