On Sunday June 24, 2012 St Thomas Police received a complaint from a concerned citizen regarding an erratic driver he had followed from Shedden to the Talbot Street area of the city. A short time later police located the vehicle on White Street. While speaking with the 43 year old male driver the officer formed an opinion his ability to operate the vehicle was impaired by alcohol. He was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he supplied breath samples in excess of the legal limit. The man was additionally charged with operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s licence. He was later released on conditions that included a future court date.
On Sunday evening June 24, 2012 St Thomas Police arrested and charged a 39 year old male for being intoxicated on Hiawatha Street. He was lodged until sober.
