Looking to identify suspect

On March 25 2013, at approximately 8:25pm, a female shopper was inside the LCBO. While she looked around her purse was taken from the cart by an unknown male. An image of the male was captured by security cameras from within the store.

Wanted male caught after foot pursuit

A 27 year old St. Thomas man was arrested yesterday after a short foot pursuit with the police. He was wanted for one count of theft under $5000, possession of property X2 and possession of CDSA. He is being held in custody for a bail hearing.

Just a reminder to our resident to always keep your purse or wallet with you at all times, never leave it in the cart.

Anyone with information or able to assist with the identification of the suspect is advised to contact the St. Thomas Police or Crime Stoppers.

Two London males charged with theft

On Monday evening two London males were observed by police acting suspiciously in the parking lot of a local grocery store. One of the males observed police and abandoned his fully loaded (stolen) grocery cart in the parking lot and started running. He was caught by the officers and so was his accomplice who was waiting for him. A 21 year old male has been charged with theft, breach probation and breach of undertaking. A 26 year old male has been charged with theft and breach of probation. Both were held for court.
