Man arrested in St. Thomas after a fail to remain incident in London

On Tuesday March 11, 2014, the London Police Service requested the assistance from the St. Thomas Police Service in locating a male after a fail to remain collision that occurred in London. There were grounds for his arrest for possession of stolen property and fail to remain. Information was received that he may possibly be travelling to St. Thomas.

At approximately 5:15pm the accused, 20 year old Brad White was located operating a motor vehicle in the area of First Ave and S.Edgeware Rd in the City of St. Thomas. The officers believed that his ability to operate the motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. He was arrested for Impaired Driving and was returned to the Police Station where he provided readings just under the legal levels. He was subsequently charged with: Young Driver B.A.C. above zero and failing to surrender licence. He was released to the London Police Service to face their charges.

Stolen vehicle located

On March 12, 2014 at approximately 1:50am Police attended the area of Ross St and Maple St in regards to a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle appeared to be abandoned in the roadway blocking traffic and had damage to the front driver’s side tire. Investigation revealed the vehicle was stolen from London but had not yet been reported. The vehicle was transported to the St. Thomas Police Station for a Forensic Examination.
