St Thomas Police charged an 18 year old male with Mischief on Monday July 30, 2012 for throwing debris and causing damage to a South end home. He was held at police headquarters pending a Tuesday July 31, 2012 court appearance.
Dog owner charged
On Monday July 30, 2012 St Thomas Police received a complaint from two teenage boys about an aggressive dog on Wellington Street. As a result of the complaint and police investigation a 62 year old man has been charged for breaching a city bylaw by allowing his dog to run at large. The dog owner was issued a $ 95.00 provincial offences ticket.
On Tuesday July 31, 2012 St Thomas Police attended a South end home regarding a domestic related incident. Police say at 12:26AM a verbal argument between a man and his wife turned physical resulting in the male assaulting his wife and damaging family home and vehicle. The accused has been charged with mischief and assault. He was held at police headquarters pending an A.M. court appearance.
Shortly after 3:00AM Tuesday July 31, 2012 a 21 year old male was apprehended for shoplifting at a Wellington Street grocery store. The male was later released by police on conditions that included a future court date.
